| Please follow these easy
steps to package and ship your gearbox, power steering pump or to return cores to Power Steering Services,
Inc. 1. Remove the pitman arm with a proper pitman arm puller
(available for rent or loan at most auto part stores).
Cracked, bent or broken cases can void your refund. If you
are sending your gearbox in to be rebuilt, you may leave the pitman
arm attached and Chip will remove it and replace it in the proper
position.
2. Empty ALL oil from the gearbox turning the input (small)
shaft many times. Please empty oil from power steering pumps as
well. Leaking oil during shipment may cause the
shipper to return the package to you.
3. Double bag the gearbox in heavy duty plastic bags and tie it
off. Then, place in a strong cardboard
box (available from U-haul,
UPS Store,
and
Fed Ex Office stores. To receive proper credit, please
write your invoice name and number clearly on the outside of your box.
"Please include contact information inside the box."
4. Tape the box securely and clearly write
your name and full address on the outside of the box. Ship it fully insured for
replacement value (with signature delivery confirmation required and
request a tracking number from your shipper) to the following:
